Behind the Brand
Jewelry is never just a logo. It carries memory, identity, the quiet weight of everything that came before. That is why heirloom jewelry exists. Children inherit more than a name. They inherit courage, values, and the choices of those who came before. They inherit stories, traditions, and reminders that true worth is not found in fleeting trends, but in objects that hold meaning across generations.
My Family
My grandfather left Montenegro at nineteen to come to the United States with nothing but resolve and a vision for what could be. Years later, he returned to marry my great grandmother, and together they built a life in America. They sold firewood, worked tirelessly, and let faith guide them through every hardship.
My grandmother prayed daily from her Yugoslav Bible, never formally learned English, yet learned enough letters to print street names for her customers. She could not read cookbooks, but she recreated the flavors of her homeland from memory like cheese pita, sarma, apricot peta. Dishes that tasted like home even thousands of miles away.
My grandfather never stopped working. Until he was ninety two, he told stories of the mountain fighters who defended Montenegro, sang in his native tongue at family gatherings, and returned to his village to build a concrete bridge with his own hands and money, engraved with his name in honor of his village.
Dedicated Ring
Faith has always been the thread running through our family. The first piece I designed, a Fleur De Lis inspired ring, honors the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. My sister and I wear matching Montenegro coat of arms pendants, engraved with “Always a Chupick” on the back. A reminder that names may change, but the legacy, the values, and the story we carry remain.
Éclat De L’or is born from this inheritance. Each piece is meant to be carried, to endure, to hold weight not for a logo, but for the meaning it carries, the history it embodies, the story it preserves.
